This extremely rare and historically significant 13th-century gold coin was struck under the reign of Mu’izz Al-Din Muhammad, one of the most celebrated rulers of the Ghurid dynasty in India.
Minted in Balad Ghazna in 601h, the coin is a 10-Mithqals/Dinar specimen, weighing 44.82 grams and measuring 4.5 cm in diameter with a thickness of 1 mm. Crafted from pure gold, it stands as a monument to the artistic, cultural, and political achievements of the Ghurid rulers and is considered virtually unique.
